It was the not exactly the first day of Chinese New Year 2008, but the first sunday of the new year. As a tradition, the Chinatown in Liverpool was holding a celebration, and it was flooded by the people. What I found particularly interesting are those kids. You can see the couriosity written on their faces. It is indeed a day for them.

新年的第一个周末,利物浦的中国城照例是很隆重的庆祝。前年我光顾了,去年没去,今年匆匆走了一遭。每次去,我觉得最有趣的是那些小孩子们,尤其是外国的小孩。他们对中国文化的好奇是写在脸上的。有些缠着母亲买小玩意,有些骑在父亲肩上看舞狮子,有些则捂起耳朵听鞭炮。
