This is a photo from the Mathew Street Music Festival this year, taking place on 24th and 25th of August. The city center of Liverpool was flooded by the music lovers.
I went there with my French friend Nico. We certainly enjoyed it very much. We participated in a rally with more than 3000 fire fighters from all over the world for singing a song from the Beatles “Hey Jude”. This year is the 40th anniversary for its creation. I checked the wikipedia and knew that this song was written by Paul McCartney for John Lennon’s first son Julian when Lennon divorced with his first wife. The event was lovely. This is a kind of unique experience that you would not able to enjoy from other places.
