The news came earlier that both Canon and Nikon would offer HD video capturing in their latest models. I saw the sample videos that they put online, which were quite impressive. But today I am even more impressed after seeing a few videos by a guardian journalist: Dan Chung. See the following two videos:
- One night in Beijing, with Canon 5D Mark II and Nikon Lens.
- D90 goes party, with Nikon D90 and Nikon lens.
I think one clear advantage is that you could use very good lens to capture these videos. I think in a few years video capturing could be a very important function in DSLR cameras. Let’s see what Sony will bring into this game.
